Dry fruits powder - Healthy dry fruit powder for babies and toddlers with mixed dry fruits like almonds, cashews, pistachios & raisins. This powder helps in weight gaining for babies.

INGREDIENTS
- Almonds - ¼ cup
- Cashews - ¼ cup
- Pistachios - ¼ cup
- Roasted gram dal - ¼ cup (optional)
- Raisins - 2 tbsp
- Dry ginger - small piece or ⅛ tsp of dry ginger powder
INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation
- Measure all the ingredients using a measuring cup as mentioned in the ingredients table & keep it ready.
Method
- Heat a pan and dry roast the almonds, cashews & pistachios in low medium flame for a minute or until it changes its colour here and there. Remove the roasted almonds,cashews,pistachios from the pan and transfer to a blender. Let it cool down for sometime.
- Add roasted gram dal in the same pan and dry roast it for 3 minutes. Remove it from the pan and add it to the blender.
- Now slightly roast the rasins & dry ginger for a minute. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Once almonds, cashews, pistachios, roasted gram dal are cooled down, grind it together in the blender to a smooth powder.
- Finally add raisins & dry ginger to the blender. Give a spin for 10 secs. Once done, spread the dry fruits powder to a plate and cool it down. Store it in a airtight container and keep it in refrigerator.

Serving size: 1.5 Cups

NOTES :
- You can store this dry fruits powder in airtight container and keep it in refrigerator. It stays well for a month.
- Blanch almonds and remove skin while making this powder for small babies.
- Adding roasted gram dal is purely optional. It helps to make porridge thick when you add this dry fruits powder to the porridge. For making dry fruits milk its not necessary so skip it if you are preparing this powder exclusively to add in milk.
- Adding small amount of dry ginger helps in digestion. Feel free to skip it if you think your baby may not like the dry ginger flavor.
- Make sure you cool down completely after roasting & blending. Otherwise it will let out moisture.
- Don’t blend it for more time, as the nuts may leave oil.
- Always check with your pediatrician before introducing any new food.
